HENRY TIJERINA JR.
Henry was born and raised in Victoria, TX. After graduating high school, he joined the Army and served 20 years, retiring as a Rotary and Fixed Wing Aviator. While serving in the Army, Henry lived in Germany, Italy, England, Hungary, Panama, El Salvador, and Honduras, and was selected to attend Flight Training where he learned to fly helicopters and airplanes.
After completing his service in the Army, Henry began working on becoming a business owner. He started his company by doing repairs for property management companies around Central Texas. His experience includes work on rental properties, privately owned homes, commercial properties, multi- family apartments, hospitals, motor pools, firing ranges, and large buildings on military bases.
While starting small, Henry was able to grow his business from small projects to performing multi-million-dollar construction projects. His vast experience includes demolition, new construction, remodeling, abatement, design build, and home building. He has worked as a subcontractor on an $800 million construction project.
Ten years after starting his business in Central Texas in 2001, Henry decided to move his company to Military Town USA, San Antonio, Texas. His children had grown up and left for college, leaving him and his wife as empty nesters at a young age. San Antonio provided broader opportunities on various local military bases and was also a closer location to most of their family who reside in South Texas.
Henry met his wife Sandra in the Army while stationed in Fort Polk, Louisiana. They have been married 36 years and have three adult children and two grandsons. Henry enjoys bike riding, playing golf, swimming, playing chess, traveling, and being a grandpa. He strives to continue growing his company and to start flying helicopters and airplanes again in his spare time.
